We cut our jackets the modern way — with high armholes and soft or ultra soft shoulder padding. The jacket is more flexible, more comfortable to move in, and sits naturally on the shoulders.

The construction of a Le Premier jacket
Half canvas included with every jacket
While off-the-rack suits use cheap fused interlining, every jacket we make has a half canvas construction — a horsehair canvas through the upper chest. The jacket follows your figure better and, with wear, molds more and more to your body.
Full canvas available for a surcharge
The most luxurious way to build a jacket — the entire front is structured with horsehair canvas and hand-stitched. The jacket becomes part of your body, following every movement perfectly.
Shaped, higher armholes and thin padding
The jacket is more flexible, more comfortable to move in, and sits better in the shoulders. Say goodbye to '90s jackets with thick shoulder pads.
Precise handwork
Every button is sewn on by hand. So is the lining.
Functional sleeve buttonholes
The sleeve buttons actually unbutton — the mark of a true made-to-measure jacket. No fake buttons like off-the-rack.
Professional pressing
A quality jacket is made by quality final pressing. We use the best industrial machines combined with precise hand finishing.
