What is made to measure?

Made to measure is a modern way of making clothing. You become your own designer — you choose the fabric, color and details, and we tailor the garment to your body. You save time and pay about the same as for good ready-to-wear. It is not traditional bespoke tailoring with multiple fittings — it is faster, more accessible and modern.

What is the difference between made to measure and bespoke?

Made to measure starts from an existing base pattern which we adjust to your body — up to 30 adjustments on the jacket and 15 on the trousers. Bespoke means sewing from scratch directly on your body at a tailor's, with several fittings. Made to measure is faster (4 weeks vs. 2–3 months) and considerably more affordable.

Who is made to measure suitable for?

For most customers with a standard build (ready-to-wear size up to 70). We cannot resolve significant physical imbalances or dress customers of size 72 and above. In such cases we recommend a traditional tailor with a bespoke approach.

How does the ordering process work?

1. You book an appointment online or by phone.
2. In the store you choose the fabric and details and we take your measurements — it takes about 1 hour.
3. After payment (100% upfront) we send the order into production. We start cutting within a few hours.
4. In 4 weeks we contact you. You come for a fitting and take your finished garments home.

Do I need to book an appointment?

We recommend it. Without a booking we cannot guarantee immediate service, especially on Saturdays. You can book an appointment online or by phone at +420 220 77 00 73.

How long does an appointment take?

Accepted Answer

About 1 hour. 30 minutes for choosing the fabric and details, 20 minutes for measurements. You can also come just for a free 30-minute consultation if you would like to look around first.

Can I change or cancel my booking?

Yes. Your confirmation email contains a link to reschedule or cancel your booking.

How long does production take?

Accepted Answer

Typically 4 weeks (28 days) for fabrics in stock. For Italian fabrics made to order, 5–6 weeks. Express delivery in 16–18 days is available for a surcharge of 4,900 Kč.

Can I still change my order after payment?

Accepted Answer

No. Thanks to our technology we start cutting the fabric within a few hours of payment. Once the order is in production, changes are no longer possible.

What if the suit doesn't fit?

You try the suit on when you collect it. If anything needs fine-tuning, you leave the suit in the store and we adjust it in our Prague workshop. Final adjustments are included in the price.

How much does a made-to-measure suit cost?

A 2-piece suit (jacket + trousers) from 15,900 Kč (Basic category), from 20,900 Kč (Premium) or from 29,900 Kč (Luxury). The difference lies in the quality and selection of fabrics.

What is included in the price?

Half canvas construction (horsehair interlining), a premium travel garment bag, hundreds of personalization options and final adjustments in our Prague workshop.

What is half canvas?

Accepted Answer

A method of jacket construction where the upper part of the front panel is reinforced with horsehair canvas. The jacket holds its shape naturally and moulds to your body as you wear it. Ready-to-wear mostly uses cheap fused interlinings. With us, half canvas is standard in every jacket.

Do you also offer full canvas?

Yes, for a surcharge. Full canvas is the most luxurious construction method — the entire front is reinforced with horsehair canvas and hand-stitched. An investment in lifelong quality.

Where do your fabrics come from?

From Italian and British mills — Reda, Drago, Vitale Barberis, StylBiella, Ariston, Loro Piana, Harrisons, Dugdale and others. We have over 1,000 fabrics in stock.

Are the buttonholes on the sleeves real?

Yes. The sleeve buttons can actually be unbuttoned — no fake buttonholes like in ready-to-wear.

Do you make wedding suits?

Yes, weddings are one of our specialties. Since 2011 we have dressed thousands of grooms. A made-to-measure wedding suit from 13,900 Kč (Super Budget) or from 20,900 Kč (Premium).

When should I come for a wedding suit?

Accepted Answer

At least 5 weeks before the wedding. Production takes 4 weeks and it is wise to leave a week for final adjustments. If you are short on time, we need a minimum of 24 days.

Do you also dress the best men and the wedding party?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We offer a group discount — an extra 5% off every suit plus a 1,000 Kč bonus credit when ordering for the groom + at least 1 other member of the wedding party.

Question 22

Do I have to wear a classic suit to my wedding?

Accepted Answer

No. We can also make just trousers, a waistcoat, a shirt, a jacket to wear with jeans, a tuxedo or anything else you have in mind. Bring your inspiration and we will make it.

In addition to made-to-measure tailoring: garment cleaning arrangements, shoe care, garment refreshing in the Samsung AirDresser and clothing alterations. During your appointment we will offer you coffee, whiskey or other drinks.
