Craftsmanship
How we make it.
Modern technology, a craftsman's touch.
Our production combines smart automation with hand precision. Every garment is quality-checked piece by piece. The result is clothing that looks and holds its shape better than ready-to-wear — and is made in 4 weeks.
A modern production line
Our production uses state-of-the-art machinery and intelligent production lines. The combination of smart automation and precision engineering ensures efficient, sustainable manufacturing. From laser fabric cutting through CAD pattern-adjustment systems to final inspection — technology stands behind every piece.
A rigorous quality system
Every garment undergoes thorough quality control — piece by piece. Our production holds the AQL 2.5 standard and has a certified laboratory. Extensive international certifications include environmental and green standards. Production complies with strict sustainability norms.
How a suit is made
Cutting
Your measurements are entered into a CAD system, which adjusts the base pattern. An automatic laser cutter then cuts your chosen fabric with millimetre precision.
Sewing
Professional sewing on industrial machines with a focus on the key details. Bar-tacking at stress points, clean interior finishing, precise topstitching.
Handwork
Every button is sewn on by hand. The final attachment of the lining is done by hand. The buttonholes on the sleeves are real — they actually unbutton.
Pressing
A quality jacket is made by quality final pressing. We use the best industrial machines combined with precise hand-pressing of every detail.
Inspection
Every finished piece goes through an individual quality inspection before it is shipped to the store.
Jacket construction
Half canvas — standard, included in the price
The upper part of the front panel is reinforced with horsehair canvas. The jacket holds its shape naturally, moves with you and develops its own character as you wear it.
Full canvas — for a surcharge
The entire front is reinforced with horsehair canvas and hand-stitched. The most luxurious way to make a jacket — an investment in lifelong quality.
Ready-to-wear vs. Le Premier
Ready-to-wear uses cheap glued interlinings (fusing). A fused jacket loses its shape after a few months of wear. Our half canvas and full canvas constructions hold their shape for years.
Certifications and sustainability
Our manufacturing partners hold strict international certifications:
SA8000
Social accountability
ISO9001
Quality management
WRAP Gold
Safe and ethical working conditions
Electricity from renewable sources, efficient waste management and fair working conditions.
Made to order = less waste
We only make what a customer orders. No surplus stock, no waste from unsold collections. According to available studies, the fashion industry produces over 90 million tonnes of waste a year — our made-to-order production eliminates this. Every piece has its owner before it even exists.
